Our Work In The Community

We believe that everyone should have a shot for a successful life. The legal community plays an important role in creating equity in society - whether that involves economic justice for persons injured through no fault of their own or helping others in our community that need a hand up.

From 2014 until 2018, Bob served as president of the Badger Prairie Needs Network in Verona, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to fighting poverty and ending hunger locally. As president of the board, Bob leads a team of volunteer attorneys who offer their services for free to help low-income families with landlord/tenant disputes, obtain restraining orders in cases of domestic violence and other situations.

Kasieta Legal Group team members regularly volunteer at the organization's weekend meal that fills the meal gap for kids and senior citizens when school lunches and senior meals aren't available.

Bob has a history of community leadership. He is a former chair of the State of Wisconsin Elections Board, served as Mayor of Verona, Wisconsin, and member of the Verona Common Council, chaired the building committee for Verona's award-winning public library, was appointed by the governor to the Dane County Regional Planning Commission, and established numerous non-profit organizations. Bob has also taught for more than a decade at Wisconsin Law School. He also teaches seminars to other lawyers on national webinars.
